about us
Established in 2007 and founded in Austin, Texas, CXO Connections (CXO) is a boutique retained executive search and consulting firm focused on cross-industry North America management and C-Level placements. Today, the firm has offices in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Florida, and North Carolina. CXO is a certified, woman-owned, small business enterprise.
CXO works with both Fortune 500 companies, as well as venture-backed startups and private-equity-owned firms, acting as their strategic partner and change agent to deliver exceptional talent and executive consulting support.
CXO’s business model is based on our depth and breadth of our client’s competitive landscape, our in-depth and exceptional research, our competitive pricing, and most importantly—our passion for long-term success. CXO’s go-to-market search model is both proven and time-tested, as validated and demonstrated with return clients who continue to place their trust in CXO to deliver specific talent for critical needs, as well as through client referrals and our 10+ year reputation in the industry.
Our value-added difference begins with the CXO Team. As former executives, who in many cases have held the positions for which we are searching, we are able to take the requirements and dive deeper into a candidate’s background to better qualify, decipher, and screen with added dimension. With the operational experience and battle scars to prove it, we believe the result concludes searches more effectively and more productively for our clients.
Search Process
We begin with knowledge of the business itself and what our clients need in from a talent perspective. We then work together to agree on the attributes, skills, and experience required to ensure both short and long-term success. Finally, we spend an 'above-average' amount of time and attention on cultural fit.
CXO’s approach to search combines proven processes, executive experience, and knowledge of our clients’ businesses. We believe this combination allows us to help reduce the overall search time by being able to more effectively qualify and better communicate the needs of the company to prospective candidates. The result is presenting exceptional candidates that meet key “must have” criteria, but who also offer a personal profile that helps support a strong cultural fit.
